DOTADVISORS ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNER BOARD

Cape Town, South Africa, July 2019 – dotadvisors announced that the new partner board’s plan to become a Decentralized Autonomous Organisation is in pursuit of demonstrating to clients the potential of Web 3 business and governance models.

dotadvisors is going through exciting changes, entering its next growth phase after the start up phase of the first six years since established in 2013. Fritz Milosevic, founder of dotadvisors and Managing Partner until February 2019, has stepped down to become a non-executive member of the new partner board. Fritz has joined the Vodacom Group as Managing Executive for Ventures and Partnerships within its Business division. Fritz will dedicate his expertise and experience for transformational strategic partnerships driving the growth of Vodacom Business and supporting existing Vodacom investee companies in achieving their strategic objectives.

dotadvisors partner Dr. Ulrich Meyer-Höllings will in future bring his unparalleled innovation management and design thinking experience to bear by establishing a brand new design studio for McKinsey in Johannesburg.

dotadvisors’ partner board is sad to see these two highly accomplished colleagues move on, but certainly wishes them well in their new roles and is convinced that they will strengthen the management teams of the companies they have joined.

dotadvisors new Managing Partner Christoph Klein is a senior finance professional with a 20-year track record in ICT-related commercial, technical and financial advisory projects in Europe, the Middle East, South America and Africa. He has a professional background in structuring and funding limited-recourse infrastructure projects as well as carrying out transaction-related finance projects (due diligence processes, bid books, business case modelling, valuation, M&A). His well-structured, client-centric and result-oriented working style with the ability to negotiate complex commercial and legal agreements has won him many loyal corporate clients in the past.

The company also welcomes another highly respected and successful professional to its partner board, Mike Fairon. Mike has been a GM for many years at global mobile operator MTN, responsible for Products and Services in South Africa. He further has been a senior advisor to companies and investors in the technology and telecommunications arena since.

To strengthen dotadvisors’ plans to become a leading advisory brand in the fast-developing digital world of decentralised businesses and services, dotadvisors has decided to change its governance structure with the establishment of a partner board. To achieve its goals, dotadvisors has decided to govern its affairs based on the principles of a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organisation, also discussed as “manifesto-based organisation”), which has its basis in existing markets and legislation, but can operate more efficiently and scale faster based on a modern and inclusive governance model suitable for a professional services brand.

The advisory’s new partner board is composed of Christoph Klein, Harold Bopalamo, Mike Fairon, Dr. Robert Bülow, Fritz Milosevic (non-executive) and Dr. Olaf Nielinger.
