In the past decade Joe has worked extensively providing technology consulting and related services to MVNEs and their MVNO customers. He has worked in client projects in Germany, UK and in Ireland.  These projects have involved the launch of a number of MVNE/O’s, and in particular their network and service designs as well as system specification, procurement and project management.

He also provides managed services for MVNE/O’s including managed IVR, managed network monitoring, as well as project management of new services/network upgrades for MVNE/O clients. He also provides support to MVNEs when introducing new MVNOs.

Recently, he was responsible for the technical implementation of the Carphone Warehouse Irish MVNO platform as well as supporting the UK MVNO team. The Irish project included the design/specification, procurement and integration of a full MVNO. This included core network, BSS and online charging systems. This project involved a number of system vendors, operators/carriers and other partners.

Previously he has also worked with mobile network operators (e-plus DE, O2 IE, Vodafone UK) and network equipment providers, and been involved with a number of start-up companies. He has also provided technical due diligence services to venture capital firms and other investors.
